Regional qualifying rounds take place all summer long in eight towns across Wyoming. At each event, contestants compete alongside up to 10 other singer-songwriters, performing three original songs live for the audience and judging panel.

Each round is judged by a panel of professionals, who select artists to advance to the semifinals and finals held in Ten Sleep during the Ten Sleep Finale over Labor Day Weekend.

At the end of the summer, advancing artists from across the state come together in Ten Sleep for a festival and championship finale celebrating Wyoming songwriting and live music.
